Adam and Cindy Maurer were an inseparable couple. They loved being outdoors by the water, going to concerts, making fires in their backyard, and having adventures together. They both shared a passion for animals and loved their two cats, Bella and Daphne, and their dog, Zoé unconditionally. After over a decade together, Adam and Cindy got married this fall on October 15, 2022, and were so excited to see what their future together would hold.
Tragically, Adam died on Saturday, May 6th, leaving Cindy a widow only months after their wedding day. No amount of money can bring Adam back or honor the amazingly caring man that Adam was, but it can help Cindy through this unthinkable time.
As you can imagine, Cindy’s whole world was taken from her on the day Adam died, and while she is hoping to return to work, she has a long road ahead and emotionally she is just not able to at the moment. With Adam’s passing, Cindy lost half of the income used for bills and expenses she and Adam shared. This money will help get Cindy on her feet and alleviate some of the financial stress that she is now independently responsible for.
Additionally, Adam and Cindy owned a duplex, and they lived there together for many years. While one side currently has a tenant, Cindy can no longer afford to live on the other side without Adam’s income, even if she could bear to live in a home that reminds her of all the memories she made there with the love of her life. Cindy hopes to rent the other side of the home that she and Adam once lived in, but she needs help getting it ready to be a rental. This money will also help Cindy make the necessary updates and repairs to get her side of the duplex ready to rent. With both sides rented, Cindy will be able to pay the mortgage, which will be a huge financial stress lifted off of her shoulders.
We hope that friends and family can support Cindy through this challenging time as she tries to navigate life without Adam.
