Help us improve Studio B!

Hi my name is Sandy and I am the owner of City Dance Studios in San Francisco. I started the business in 2003 and together with Jylly (who joined us in 2008!), and all our amazing dance geniuses/teachers and support staff, we have built a wonderful community center that brings joy to people's lives. It's so fun to sit at the front desk and watch people come to the studio, sign in, take a class, and leave with a huge smile on their faces. It's also so fun to see everyone perform at the shows!

As we approach the end of 2023 we are focusing our attention toward improving the experience for our teachers and students, and Studio B needs some help with temperature control.

This year we installed ceiling fans, insulated the entire wall that borders Colton Alley and hung a commercial heater but it wasn't enough. We have consulted with an expert and we really need to insulate the roof, and install two additional heating/air conditioners on the roof.

The good news is that Sandy’s husband can do the construction so we don’t have to pay for labor but the insulation and the mini-split air conditioners are pricey.

We just had to replace all the speakers in the studio and we really want to fix the temperature as well!
