Donate to Help Cover Medical Costs for Holly Bunce

Hello, all. Thank you for visiting this page. My name is Stephanie Boyd, and I am raising medical funds for my sister-in-law, Holly Bunce. On January 2, 2024, my brother rushed her to the urgent care after she had lost consciousness several times. Upon arrival, the doctors categorized her condition as life threatening, where she was then life-flighted to the nearest hospital for immediate surgery. Holly had experienced a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. Her fallopian tube ruptured and was causing severe internal bleeding. Blood and plasma transfusions were started immediately upon arrival at the urgent care, and during surgery at the hospital, 3 1/2 liters of blood were pumped out of her stomach. Holly seemed to be recovering from surgery just fine and was discharged the following day. Her discharge was premature, as she began experiencing a fever over 101.5 for the next two days. Holly was admitted again this morning for a possible internal infection. This has been a very traumatic experience for my brother and Holly to endure. If you know this couple at all, you know how badly they’ve been wanting children, and now they’ve lost the life of their unborn child (and, as scary as it is, almost the life of Holly’s). We are asking for support to help cover medical costs for the life-flight, the overnight hospital stays, and the surgery. Holly is currently a senior in the green-to-gold program and will not commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army until this coming up May. Therefore, without being back on active duty, these medical expenses are out-of-pocket for this young couple. They have expressed appreciation for any and all contributions in advance. I will update this page as Holly’s recovery progresses.

Update 1/12/23: Holly is now home and doing well. She’s enjoying the comfort of being back in her own home and sharing the company with her three Germans Shepards. Holly and Dalton still have a long road ahead but have expressed sincere appreciation for all support received!
