Hi everyone, my name is Morgan Hensley and on July 17th I was attacked in the parking lot leaving a friends birthday party in downtown Richmond. My boyfriend and I were walking to our car from Southern Railway Taphouse when a large group of people charged at us and physically assaulted my boyfriend and I to which I was shoved on the ground & broke my humerus (upper arm). It was a random and unknowing altercation that neither of us expected. I am currently working with a detective to find out the names of these men, but in the meantime they are walking free while I am suffering missing time from work, multiple doctors trips, and now an extensive surgery that I couldn’t possibly have predicted. You can never prepare for something so traumatic to happen, and with that being said I was not financially prepared for this. I am asking for donations for my surgery next Friday the 29th. I am unaware of the costs of all of this but would be beyond appreciative of any help.
