Support for Cydney & Family in Their Time of Need

On October 17th, 2024, Cydney underwent two procedures—one to remove two stones from her bile duct and another to remove her gallbladder, performed a day apart. However, her condition has since taken a turn for the worse. She has developed pneumonia, pancreatitis, and her lower right lung is partially collapsed. Her abdomen is filled with fluid and is inflamed, and she is currently only able to receive nutrients through IV. She has been receiving IV fluids and antibiotics, and it has now been almost a month in the hospital. Recently, Cydney developed two cysts on her pancreas and underwent another surgery to have drain tubes inserted. As of November 11th, the doctors still do not have clear answers as to what is causing her condition. Despite numerous tests, her blood work shows a high white blood cell count, raising concerns about the possibility of sepsis.

Cydney and her husband have requested a transfer to a hospital with specialists who can address her type of trauma. The doctors have indicated that she may need to remain hospitalized for up to 4-5 weeks, until the fluid in her abdomen turns into a cyst that can be drained. During this difficult time, there are moments when the pain is overwhelming, but Cydney is holding on to her faith in God’s healing power.

In addition to her health struggles, Cydney’s income has been significantly impacted, and her husband is working hard to cover their bills. They have two young children, ages 3 and 6 months. Any amount you can contribute to help with their bills and travel expenses would mean so much.
