Help Dak's Fight Against AML Leukemia!

Hello all, this fundraiser has been created for Dak Scott Lopez, a brave 4-year-old little boy who is in the early stages of a long journey that no child should have to endure. Dak was recently diagnosed with AML, an aggressive form of Leukemia and is undergoing immediate medical treatment. He is a precious, vibrant, energetic child who loves dinosaurs, fishing, playing at the beach, and spending time with his loving family. To know Dak is to witness pure joy! His smile lights up a room, and his sense of humor knocks everyone off their feet. He is so kind and loving, it is difficult to imagine the darkness he is facing, but he is a fighter and so very brave! Dak has two older siblings that miss him terribly and cannot wait to have him back in their arms.

He is beginning the first rounds of chemotherapy at Children's Medical Center Plano. The first 6-8 months will require aggressive chemotherapy treatment, with his parents by his bedside day and night. During this time, Dak will never be left alone, and the family will reside at the hospital while he receives the treatment he needs. Dak will also continue to require treatment after this initial phase. 

The purpose of this fundraising endeavor is to assist in alleviating financial stressors and 100% of donations raised will go toward medical bills, possible loss of income, food, lodging and other unexpected expenses that Ryan and Adam may incur.
