Donate to Help Dana Sommer & Family

Hi, my name is Carol Sommer, and I'm Dana's sister-in-law. In the Fall of 2021, Dana was diagnosed with Colon Cancer, and later she would find out it was Stage 4 and had spread to her liver and lungs. Her treatment has been aggressive chemotherapy that includes three drugs and a 46-hour pump infusion. These treatments are grueling, tiring, and debilitating. The illness put a financial strain on the family as they adjust to unexpected medical expenses and Dana's need to take time off from work. With two boys still in high school, they strive to keep things as normal as possible.

Chris & Dana will travel to MD Anderson to seek further treatment options. This trip will come at added expense, and they could use help.
