Donate to Help Dennis and JoAnna Kent

Dennis and JoAnna Kent are well known and dearly loved by many not only in their home state of Maine, but all over the country. Their devotion to family, friends and their community is unmatched and unwavering — and now they need your help.

Dennis will be receiving intense cancer treatment at Dana Farber Hospital in Boston for two months beginning in early December, accompanied by his beloved wife JoAnna. He will be hospitalized for some of this time, and for other periods he will be discharged to stay no more than two hours away from the hospital under 24-hour care provided by family and friends. This means Dennis and JoAnna will need to quickly secure long-term housing relatively close to Boston, which is nearly four hours away from his home in Maine.

They need our help paying for travel, housing and living expenses while Dennis receives treatment, and for the many trips to Boston for pre-treatment care. Those of you who know Dennis and JoAnna know they are givers. Asking for help isn’t in their nature — which is why we have created this GoFundMe, so that the many people who love them have a way to give support during this difficult time.
