Help Emily Kunz recover from the Lahaina Disaster

Aloha - we are raising funds for our best friend Emily, a Lahaina business owner and resident. On Tuesday 8/8, she preemptively evacuated her condo with just the clothes on her back and 2 dogs, Pumpkin and Chopper.

She and the pups are safe, but her car, home, and Lahaina business, Choice Health Bar, were all lost in the fast-moving wildfire that devastated our little town of Lahaina.

Emily has been a Lahaina resident for over 13 years and cherishes being an active part of her community. She is the most kindhearted person we know and would offer anything she had to help a friend - and we’re hoping to do the same to help get her back on her feet.

Insurance may cover some of the financial burdens, but insurance claims will take extended periods due to the magnitude of loss on our island. She will use the funds to secure a place to live and purchase the essentials. There’s a long recovery road ahead: anything you can contribute to jumpstart her journey is beyond appreciated.
