3 nights ago my daughter told us that the nurse called with her biopsy results on the lymph node they took out on Nov 27th. And they found Hodgkin’s lymphoma. They said they would put in a referral for her. She is waiting on that.

But first let me rewind a bit

About 3yrs ago she developed a lump that started to grow bigger under her left armpit. There were times it was sore for her and others it wasn’t. She went into the dr. Probably about a year after and They did mammogram, ultra sound, and a biopsy. The biopsy came back negative then and they gave her an antibiotic for the swelling saying it was probably infected and the antibiotic will help it go away. So she took it and at that time it did help for a short period. Fast forward to this yesr she started having issues with it enlarging again. I told her quite a few times to go in and get it checked again. (She lives in Alaska and I am in Montana)

finally in october she did and again they did the ultra sound and this time a Ct scan. They said her spleen looks a little enlarged. And that they wanted to remove the lymph node that was enlarged. And a cluster in her neck that they are watching.

They removed the one large lymph node which was over 2in in length and pretty fat looking too.

It has been pretty hard on her with this news. And she has no clue on what to do. She currently does not have health insurance (we will be looking more into that), and she has been out of work for the past few weeks due to the stress and surgery she had. Luckily she has an amazing boyfriend who is helping her during this time.

If you know my daughter then you know she has the biggest heart and is always there for someone in need. And now is her time for us to be there for her.

So she can use the funds for what she needs not only health wise but for every day bills, food, and other things that will be needed along the way.
