Donate to help Esther Clayton with Medical Bills

Donation protected
January 24, 2023: As of today Esther has received funds sufficient to cover her medical bills. We want to thank the Lord that many of Esther's medical bills have been forgiven, reduced, or allowed to be put on payment plans. Thank you to all of you that have donated money to support Esther. We know that as Jesus said, "Insomuch as ye have done to the least of these my little ones, ye have done it unto me." May God richly bless each of you. Your continued prayers for Esther are appreciated. Medical updates for her are routinely posted by my wife, Ruth Dexter, on Esther's Caring Bridge site: www.caringbridge.org/visit/estherclayton. Please continue to visit there to see updates. If you go to Esther's Caring Bridge site and click the follow link and set up an account with Caring Bridge you will be emailed each time there is an update. Thanks again for your continued support. God bless you.

"You know, I don’t know of any greater thing that anyone could ask for me, than to say, “God bless you.” See? If He’ll do that, that’s all I need, just—just that. I think that’s the greatest word in the—in the dialect, “God bless you.” And, now, and I know He does.

Thanks again, Matt Dexter

Esther Clayton was hospitalized in December 2022 for about a week and underwent many medical tests while in the hospital. She was discharged from the hospital but then had to see a series of medical specialists afterward. During this time she was without medical insurance of any kind. A hospital social worker worked with Esther to try to get presumptive Medicaid but this was only backdated (started) to mid-January 2023. As a result, all Esther's medical bills from the end of December and first half of January have to be paid out of pocket. Esther is unable to work right now as she is on a regimen of chemo treatments and is battling a compromised immune system. She has had some help with bills from meal train donations for her and has had family financial support as well. The amount of bills she has yet to pay is large and for this reason the family has decided with Esther's permission to start a Go Fund Me for her.
