Donate to Help the Family of Thea Hablo

We are a group of former co-workers that have become family to each other and we are trying to raise funds for the untimely demise of our beloved friend, Lady Althea Hablo.

We know her as Thea/Teya, but she is better described by her name amongst her family members, “Shine”.

Teya/Shine was a breath of fresh air and a ray of sunshine beaming with positivity. She was a great daughter, wife, sister, friend, and co-worker...but most especially she was an exceptional mom.

Our Teya was excited to meet her new daughter Zoeleen. She couldn’t wait to have matching outfits with her and to play dress up. Unfortunately, this wouldn't happen.

On July 5, 2023, she had to have an emergency Cesarean Section to deliver the baby. She suffered complications caused by a condition called Placenta Accreta, which is an extreme case where the placenta invades neighboring organs. This led to tremendous blood loss and later caused her heart to fail.

Teya is survived by her husband, Matt and sons Zach and Zeno, as well as their newborn daughter, Zoeleen.

We are knocking on your kind hearts to help us raise funds to assist their family on a huge hurdle—their hospital bill which has already reached Php 500,000.00 (Over $9000 USD).

UPDATE: Everyone has been so generous and know that Matt and the family are eternally grateful. We have adjusted the goal UPWARD based on the response and please know that all of the money will go to cover the medical expenses, with the balance going to support Matt and kids going forward.
