Donate to help free Santi from Tracheomalacia

Hi my name is Ramses and I'm helping to raise funds on behalf of my cousin Carina and her toddler Santi. Our goal is for him not to depend on a tracheostomy tube to breathe so he can live freely.
Santi is a very happy, ingenious, and active boy. Full of life and light wherever he goes. Santi has an extra chromosome of love and struggles every day with a condition known as laryngotracheomalacia, which causes him to use a tracheostomy tube so that his tissues do not collapse and he can breathe. Santi's life has been in danger several times and his quality of life is limited by suffering from this condition.
Unfortunately, the treatment of this condition is not available in their home country of Costa Rica so Carina will have to travel internationally to seek treatment for Santi. She has been in communication with a hospital in Spain, Hospital Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona.
Santi would be hospitalized for 15 to 22 days and with additional outpatient treatment for more than a month. A total of 50 days minimum treatment has been proposed. After 5 months they must return back to Barcelona for reevaluation and respiratory physiotherapy. He will also undergo an airway and sleep study during the treatment period in addition to other tests and procedures before surgery is considered. Carina was quoted 85,000 euros for the first round of treatment not including accommodation, food, or air travel. We have a few months left before the quote expires but we have great faith that we will achieve our goal.
