If you are in the industry you will have heard about Jack’s troubles at Bakari. As if running a hospitality business couldn’t get any harder in 2025, a fire took away the pastry and retail space at Bakari. For anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Jack you will see he is the kind of guy that, if you needed help he would be there for you. So here I am asking you to show him that same support. Bakari has established itself as an essential part of the city and community. Making sure that everyone has access to quality produce through his work with Larder East.

Jack hasn’t stopped baking and won’t let a little fire stop him from producing bread, that says a lot about his character and willingness to continue for the staff at Bakari and for you loyal customers. But, Donegall street won’t be the same until it’s once again filled with the smell of fresh croissants!
