Hi, my name is Lily Gibson, and I am partnering with my Dad to raise funds for my mom, Carolyn Strawn Gibson! Mom has always requested her health stay private. Because of this many of you may be out of the loop, but she has been dealing with end stage non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver for over two years. In the last few months her health has declined so rapidly that she is unable to work, she has required many out-of-town hospital visits, and my parent's household income has dropped substantially.

Of course, SS and disability benefits are taking their sweet time to provide my family with the support they need to stay afloat, but the bills have not stopped rolling in.

She will require an entire liver transplant and has recently been approved to be on the transplant list. At this time mom is immunocompromised and spends most of her time unable to do much more than walk across the house. Dad is taking care of her nutrition and everything else that he can.

Most importantly I'd like to request prayers for my mom and dad.

Donations would be much appreciated during this time to lessen the impact of general bills, medical bills, travel, and out of town medical housing that will be required six weeks post-transplant (she is hoping to remain on the list for less than a year).
