Hello, my name is Hani Alanqar, I am 26 years old, from Gaza. My life was turned upside down in an instant, just like hundreds of thousands of others here. I was living a simple life with my family, but after the recent war, we were left with nothing but fear and suffering.

We lost everything:

We lived in northern Gaza, and our home was filled with love and memories. But within hours, it turned into a pile of rubble. I can't begin to describe what I witnessed: massacres, destruction, bloodshed. Everything we owned, everything we loved, disappeared. Our journey to the south was a nightmare: 15 kilometers of fear under bombardment, carrying our children with hearts filled with terror of death.

We are now living in an unfinished school, sharing a classroom with five other families.

My life and my family's lives are in danger. My sick father, my mother who requires constant medical care, and my younger siblings who suffer from hunger and fear – we all need help now, not tomorrow. I'm here to ask you to stand by us.
