Donate to help Harley get cancer treatment!

Hello I'm Chloe, I'm starting this fundraiser for my 9 year old dog, Harley, who has Melanoma cancer. I've had Harley for 5 years, since I was 17 and he has been my rock, my best friend and my only family for alot of the time we've had together. He's such a unique and wonderfully natured dog that I can't imagine losing him. From my understanding Harley needs immediate treatment with chemo therapy or the melanoma vaccine, both options are expensive and out of my budget unfortunately, we still have to see an oncologist to confirm exactly what treatment he needs and any help would be appreciated! Any left over funds from helping Harley will go towards a local dog charity so that hopefully we can help more dogs and pass on the love. I will also edit this post with updates on what Harley needs and where the funds are going!

UPDATE: So bad news everyone, Harley's cancer is much worse

It's likely that he's terminal with the type of cancer he has, because of the nature of the cancer he has a slim chance of being cured if the cancer hasn't spread to his vital organs

I'm so scared of losing my best friend, I've been crying since finding out how much his condition has gotten worse.. the CT scan we are doing on Monday will tell us whether it's spread, the cost of this scan alone is $3,000.

I really hope it hasn't spread because then we can remove the cancer infected lymph node with surgery.

I can't afford the cost of more treatment.. I'm trying my best doing everything I can to raise money for my dear Harley, making art commissions (thank you so so much to the people who have commissioned me!!)I'm offering cheap hair dressed services, basically any skill I have. I feel hopeless like there's nothing I can do... Even if whoever is reading shared this story that would help too more than you know

Update on Harley:

The CT scan revealed that the cancer has spread to his lungs, there're three grape sized lumps in his lungs

He's having surgery to remove his cancer infected lymph node at the moment and has also been given the melanoma vaccine, hopefully the vaccine helps his body fight off the lumps in his lungs but that will probably require further treatment

Update on Harley:

Harley is recovering well from surgery, all the funds from this gofundme went towards the CT scan, his surgery and the melanoma vaccine, all totalled to $8,121.76. He is still required to have 3 more doses of the vaccine, all already paid for as it was included in the initial price.
