Donate to help Jacob after Hurricane Ian

Jacob moved all of his belongings from the Quad Cities to Fort Myers Beach, FL, on September 2nd, 2022. Hurricane Ian, a category 4 hurricane, hit on September 28th, 2022. Thankfully, Jacob and his roommate Chris evacuated to the Miami Beach area before the hurricane hit, but all of their belongings were lost or severely damaged. They have not had stable housing since and have been offered temporary housing short-term, but need to move soon. The home has water damage and will need to be completely gutted. The waters reached 15 feet high and filled the upper/main level of the home with 4+ feet of water. Many families on the island lost their entire homes, businesses, and jobs. There is no FEMA/Red Cross/disaster relief assistance being provided at this time, and insurance claims are going to be a long waiting game to recoup losses.
