Better Deal for British Pubs

I am working on a challenge to down a pint in all 650 Constituencies, I have already done 16 (and counting) out of 650, however, that's 634 to go.

My campaign is featured on The Independent, Express, The Mirror, the Daily Star, the London Economic, The Birmingham Mail, Express and Star and Belfast Live

I'm doing this because pubs are in decline, and it's a bleeding of British culture, and it's only right that we stop it by Better Deals for British Pubs

We must stop what happened to the Crooked House, happen elsewhere, and stop many other pubs across the country some being closed down and wiped away from the map.

I want to use the pub crawl and the laddish behaviour of pint downing to raise awareness for our pubs that matters so much to our community.

The objective of this campaign is to advocate for policies that benefits pubs, and here are the 5 Pint Policy I wish to push forward.

1. Scrap the 20% VAT imposed on food and drink sold in pubs and restaurants, but not in supermarkets, as well as giving pubs a 30% relief on the alcohol duty they have to pay.

2. Oppose policies that overlook the interest of pubs, such as pub garden smoking ban, nightlife curfew and high taxes on alcohol.

3. Protect heritage pubs like the Crooked House from rogue developers by introducing interim protection to buildings pending to be listed as ACVs, and strengthening community right to bid.

4. Encourage local devolve authorities to use their resources to help communities to list their local pubs, and receive protection.

5. Call on politicians to understand the importance of pubs, and listen to their interests and challenges both locally and nationally.

The only way I can accomplish this challenge is by your support. I need to travel around the country with train and coaches, buy pints, transport across pubs, and get accommodations.

While I have to be honest to you, I definitely can't finish most of West Midlands and the 75 constituencies in London without your support; the London trip alone, if I down 10 pints a day, will take more than 7 days to accomplish. Accommodation of the London trip will cost me up to £500, pints around £600, transport around London around £20 a day, and return train ticket from Birmingham around £40; plus additional cost - the London trip alone will cost me £1500

Any amount of money can push this journey further, if the £2000 objective is reached, I am confident that I can finish Greater London, West Midlands, and some other parts of the UK.

Any amount of money can raise our voice to the upper level, I have Parliamentary Candidates and Councillors from all Parties, Journalists, Senior Figures in different fields and Local Residents all across the country making recommendations of pubs I should go to, more publicity will put our voices across to even more people.

If you can't make donations, but able to help me in any other way, like transport, accommodation, food, or even grabbing me a pint, I'll be very grateful.

If that's impossible, write to your MPs about your local pubs, and mention the 5 necessary policies we must implement.

For transparency of how this money is spent,

I will release a statement of the amount of money in the fundraiser pot spent in each trip including transport, accommodation, food and pints will cost before I make this trip (as a 'Trip Budget'); and how much did I end up spending in each areas after I made this trip along with it's justifications (as a 'Trip Expenditures').

If no trips are required, meaning I will simply commute from Birmingham to another place and return the same day, and does not require much accommodation, a Budget will be made on Monday and a Statement on Friday.

They will be publicly accessible, and anyone can see from their experience if they are rightly and responsibly spent.
