Donate to help Jaycee Walk Again!

Hello Everyone,
My name is Megan Caceres, and I am fundraising on behalf of my good friend, Michelle Leyva and her Son, Jaycee. Right now is the time that we're supposed to be home with our loved ones, celebrating good health and prosperity, but instead, Michelle and her husband Oscar will be spending their time at Maria Ferrari Children's Hospital until further notice.
Her son Jaycee has lost the ability to walk and even sit up, due to Guillain-Barré syndrome, a condition in which the immune system attacks the nerves. He is currently in a children's hospital, but it has been rough as his health continues to deteriorate. In a short amount of time, he has undergone a spinal tap, a 3-hour MRI, and spent time in the PICU because he couldn't breathe on his own. Doctors have been struggling to get Jaycee's blood pressure under control, and to add to this nightmare, Michelle was just informed that her son has acquired COVID while being hospitalized.
Jaycee was a healthy, active, 2-year- old boy, that enjoyed attending gymnastics and soccer, and we want him to be that happy, eccentric kid again. Doctors told his parents that their son will likely be transferred to a rehab center for a long road of physical therapy to regain strength and learn to walk again on his own.
As mentioned before, Michelle is a woman of her community. She attended George Washington Elementary School, Highlands Middle School, and WPHS. She is also a graduate of CUNY John Jay. Michelle played for White Plains Youth Soccer her whole life and even played on the women’s varsity soccer team. She still volunteers at Youth Soccer tournaments when time permits, and at George Washington School when the book fair is ongoing. Michelle is the type of person to help you if she can, and isn't one to ask for a handout, which is why I am asking on her behalf. She and Oscar have taken time off from work so that they can be 100% present for their son, but this also means they could use some help.
If you are able to, please help us support baby Jaycee and his family during this unfortunate time. Any donation of any amount is appreciated. All donations will go towards medical expenses, future rehabilitation costs, and any other costs associated with their family since they aren't working right now. Even if you cannot donate at this time, please feel free to share this and pray for baby Jaycee! He's not giving up, and we aren't giving up on him!
