Hello friends and family! My name is Lee and I am fundraising for my friend Jennifer.

A year and a half ago Jennifer's world turned upside down. She was diagnosed with

stage 2 breast cancer, she had to close her practice during part of her treatment, her

marriage came to an end, and she was forced to move from her home. (Jennifer started

After undergoing a mastectomy, a brutal four months of chemotherapy and 5 weeks of

radiation, she started the anti-hormonal therapies recommended by her doctors, which

brought severe side effects, not to mention how stressful it must have been to move

from California to Arizona in July.

We all hoped the worst was behind her.

Unfortunately, four months ago Jennifer found out her cancer had not only spread to her lymph nodes, but that they also found a spot on her liver as well. Tests confirmed it was stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.

Six weeks later, when Jennifer’s doctor recommended another MRI for her liver as a precursor for a procedure to stabilize the tumor, they found that she no longer had just one tumor, but 15 tumors in her liver.

Once again, she had to close her practice and is currently working part-time.

Jennifer is now undergoing another brutal round of intense chemo for six months.

Because of her diagnosis and treatment, her life will never be the same. Jennifer

currently has insurance for 2023 and put her $4000 deductible on her credit card. We

would love for her to be able to participate in adjunct therapy like weekly reiki sessions and IV hydration as well as outfitting her condo with special treats she can pick up from Amazon like cat sheets and pillowcases for her bed (without dealing with any added financial stressors).

These little things bring her great joy and help ease the discomfort of her treatments.
