Donate to help Jess and her Family

Hi my name is Stacey and I’m fundraising to help my beautiful friend Jess, her husband Dave and their 2 gorgeous children Carter (6) and Georgie (5).

In February 2021 Jess was diagnosed with a rare aggressive form of cancer called Ewing Sarcoma. In the weeks prior Jess faced other medical issues and underwent surgery where the discovery of the cancer was made. With no time for recovery after surgery, the cancer had to be hit hard and hit fast. Jess endured 17 long and hard rounds of chemotherapy. Throughout the treatment Dave had to work to provide for his family and keep an as normal as possible routine for their 2 young children. Unfortunately with the rising cost of living the family had no choice but to leave their family home and move in with other family.

As time went on and Jess came to the end of her extremely long treatment, finishing off with radiation therapy and one last surgery. This should have been a time of celebration where the family could once again start to enjoy family life, however, bad news has struck again. Jess has now been diagnosed with Acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) Unfortunately due to the medical treatments and chemotherapy Jess’ body has already endured it can’t possibly take anymore to fight this cancer.

AML appears suddenly and grows quickly and treatment isn’t an option for Jess. The last 18 months has been full of sickness, medical appointments, medical treatments and hospitals, Now all we want is for Jess to spend as much time with her family as she only has a few short months to make long lasting memories with her husband and 2 children. Time is unfortunately limited and shortening by the day for this wonderful family to build memorable occasions. If you can dig deep to help this beautiful family make some ever lasting memories I know it would mean the absolute world to them.
