Donate to help Jim Mergens

Hi, my name is Katelyn and I’m raising funds for my dad, Jim Mergens. As many of you probably don’t know, our dad was diagnosed with stage 4 Cholangial (Gallbladder) cancer. He’s on a fixed income and he’s retired, so was not prepared for the extra medical bills that have come his way. He had his first chemo treatment today and many more are to come. My dad lives alone, so doesn’t have anybody to assist with the daily tasks. Even preparing meals, we imagine, will become cumbersome. We’re raising funds to assist with the extra medical bills, food service, laundry service, Uber rides to and from the hospital (if nobody’s available to drive him) and all the other extras. We also appreciate all the prayers that can come my dad’s way that he will be healed and live a healthy life. We’re hopefully that chemo will work and won’t take a toll on my dad.
