Donate to help Joe Cernik & Laura Polzin Family

Hi, I am Bobbie Struensee and I am fundraising to help the family of Joe Cernik & Laura Polzin. Joe had a stroke in early December after suffering from a debilitating headache. After going to the ER it was discovered he had suffered a stroke which has caused loss of vision in his right eye and vision issues in the left. Along with these problems, there are balance issues, loss of memory and other health issuess. At this time Joe is unable to return to work indefinitely.

Joe and Laura have a blended family with 4 kids that they are raising together. At the time of his stroke, they were in the process of remodeling their home to make room for everyone. However, all of that has come to a halt and things are a bit of a mess, but worse is the fact that heating costs for a torn open house are very high and there is no timeframe for when any of this work will be completed due to the current situation.

This family needs some help from all of us. Joe is a wonderful father and role model to their blended family of 4 children and also a partner to Laura. Stepping up when she needed it the most after the father of her son Ellis passed away, raising Ellis as his own. Teaching Izzy to hunt this past season and she scored a 14pt buck!!!

The family is doing everything they need to do to apply for disability, etc. However, these things take time. I hope you can find it in your heart to help out this family so they can continue to pay their bills, without having to constantly worry while Joe continues his therapy and tries to heal and adjust to a "new" normal. A new normal for the entire family.
