Unfortunately we received the terrible news that Jose Gomez was diagnosed with prostate cancer on December 18th, 2023. Jose is a loving father and husband to his family, a charismatic friend to any stranger he comes across, and a devout and faithful child of God. Being born and raised in Mexico with 11 other brothers and sisters, he came over to the U.S. at the age of 19 in hopes of a better life. Since then, he started a beautiful family, graduated college, started his own business and lately has been trying to spread the word of God to more people. He has always been a role model to anyone that has had the pleasure of getting to know him and his beautiful story. We are in the beginning of this entire process with the first exam needed being a PSMA (Prostate Specific Membrane Antigen) Pet/CT scan, this will tell us how severe the cancer is and if it has spread to other parts of the body. The PET/CT scan is $7,024 (with insurance) but unfortunately we know that there will be medical and financial expenses that we can not predict as of yet: exams, treatments, radiology, surgeries, loss of income from not being able to work and etc...
