Our beloved big brother Josh has been in the fight of his life! Josh has been in ICU after suffering an acute attack of pancreatitis. Our family has a long history of it and unfortunately Josh was not aware of the signs. It hit him harder than most and shut down his pancreas, kidneys and lungs and has also resulted in him becoming fully paralyzed from the neck down. He has been in ICU Oakville and now Juravinski in Hamilton since March 30 and is expected to remain in the hospital for a very long time. He will require many surgical/medical interventions and will fight to get off life support and regain his mobility again. He has not been able to work since his hospitalization and will not be able to return for some time and will have many expenses related to his recovery. Kalynn, his beautiful partner, is working hard to hold down the home they share and we are very grateful he has such a loving and dedicated woman in his life. All funds donated will go directly towards Josh’s care and ensure he gets the procedures and rehabilitation for his paralysis he needs to recover and be healed completely!
