Donate to help kayla and her family

hi my name is raegan and im creating this fundraiser to help with kayla and her family’s expenses.

As many of you have heard, my best friend Kayla was in a motorcycle accident late Friday night heading home from her birthday celebration in South Bend. Kayla has long road of recovery ahead.Kayla was placed in the ICU in a medically induced coma because she had a brain bleed along with brain trauma.She was placed on a ventilator to help her breathe. After some CT scans, it shows that the brain bleeding has stopped so they lowered the sedation and were able to take her off the ventilator.slowly, she is waking up on her own. Kayla has a broken shoulder bone as well but we are told that they are going to avoid surgery as much as possible.Kayla has finally started to move around a bit and she’s communicating by shaking her head yes or no, she can say other words and some sentences as well. But its a learning process.She has started speech, physical, and occupational therapy as well.

For the people that don’t know kayla she is a care giver for special needs people.she goes above and beyond to help anyone in need, she has the biggest heart.she is a aunt to many,best friend to some and a friend to a lot.she enjoys the outside and loves to go tanning.she is down for anything weather its a trip to the zoo or a unplanned camping trip.there is so much more i could continue to share about her but it would become a book at that point.

We ask if you can donate to help pay for the medical bills, future therapy sessions and anything else that her family might need help with, to continue to pray and send positive thoughts to Kayla & her family.
