Yesterday, our family, the community and so many friends suffered an unbearable loss. The loss of a man who loved so hard and put everyone else before him. Kevin is the “K” in JAK Kustoms Foundation. He is one of the original founders of the organization, and it is truly great because of Kevins guidance, leadership and eagerness to help others. As much as Kevin loved the classic cars and organizing car shows, he was even more passionate about Toys for Tots. He was so dedicated to making each and every year more successful than the year prior. You can judge a mans true character by his desire to help those who are less fortunate when he himself does not come from much. However, happiness and success are not determined by wealth and materialistic objects. Kevin was the richest man in the world because he surrounded himself with people who truly loved the man he was. He mentored and taught many of us during his 49 years, but there is one life lesson many of us will forever keep. Kevin was the purest example of “Never judge a book by its cover”. He was rough around the edges, but loved with everything he had.
