My name is Kholoud Abu Odeh, and I am from Gaza. I want to share my story with you, hoping it will touch your hearts and inspire you to help us.

I once had a home filled with love and laughter. My husband, my mother, my sisters, and my two-year-old daughter were my world. We were a happy family, enjoying the simple joys of life. However, our happiness was shattered by the horrors of war.

One day, the war machine came to our doorstep. Bombs rained down on us, destroying our home and taking away everything we held dear. My house was reduced to rubble, and my beloved family members were either severely injured or lost forever. My husband, my mother, my sisters, and my husband’s family were all victims of this senseless violence. My daughter and I were pulled out from under the rubble, injured and traumatized.

Our Current Situation

Now, my daughter and I have no place to call home. We are currently living in a school, trying to piece our lives back together. The trauma and loss we have experienced are unimaginable, but I am determined to create a future for my daughter. She deserves a safe and stable environment, where she can grow and thrive despite the challenges we face.
