Kora was recently diagnosed with an invasive carcinoma. We know that 4 masses have been found and are testing positive for estrogen & progesterone, meaning that Kora's natural hormone production aggravates the cancerous cells. Kora is forming a close-knit treatment team that plans for mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation, and estrogen blockers (which will onset menopause). We are raising this money to help lessen some of the medical expenses so that Kora can focus on feeling better.

Samples taken from Kora have also tested negative for CK7 & CK20. At this time ruling out rare mutation of genetic form, or metastatic cancer from another part of the body, are the main focus. We will continue to refresh this page with updates & treatment plans as they are made.

Kora has been a nurse since 2015. Starting her career in her hometown of Chicago, Kora worked the inner city ICU stepdown until she began travel nursing during the pandemic. Her journey brought her to Las Vegas, where she moved with her husband and 3 children. The last 2 years Kora has been managing home health with Care First. Kora is warm, intuitive, hardworking, and selfless. She feels blessed to have the opportunity to fight for her health. We appreciate all the love and support that surrounds her.
