Help Kristy Jocelyn and Family After Housefire

Family of 7 + 2 dogs lost everything today from a house fire. The home and all belongings are a total loss. Kristy Jocelyn is the executive director of BASICS United, an employee of Daystar, and a board member of many community agencies here in Citrus County. Kristy is known for the way she serves, loves, and advocates for the needs of everyone in this community. We are asking now for us all to come together to help her and her family recover after this devastating loss.

All funds raised will go directly to the Jocelyn family for immediate needs, housing, and gas for transportation to jobs for several family members.

If you can’t donate monetarily, we are including a list of immediate needs to get them through the next few days, and we would appreciate it if you can share this fundraiser to get the word out.

No other dog needs (people have ordered food/treats and someone has beds were working on)

Clothing need is handled presently for all adults.

Kristy needs women's size 11 shoes (a new pair of Hey Dudes would be amazing *per Candice* because she's been walking in the fire ravaged yard/house/area with the only ones she has.

Everything else is on hold while we sort current donations and await a rental.

Desperately seeking Insurance approvabale RENTAL in Citrus County.

Must be 3-4 bedroom rental with the ability to do a 6-9 month lease averaging around $1500 month. Must approve 2 dogs and possibly 1 cat if the cat that got away is found. Great family with loads of referrals and references.
