Hi, my name is Ericka, and I am one of Lisa's little twin sisters that live here in Modesto, California. I just lost my big sister, who lives in Topeka, Kansas. Unfortunately, I am medically unable to travel to the funeral, so I am helping our family by helping to pay for the funeral. I did not know it would be so expensive. So I am asking for your help and support. I have ten siblings; Lisa is number 4 and the second girl. She is the 3rd one we have lost in the last decade. She was so kind. Lisa was 49, a mama's girl, a wonderful devoting sister, and a mother to three girls and two boys.

 

Lisa suffered many personal tragedies in her young life. She constantly struggled to stay straight and functional, even though she lacked higher education, and continuously struggled to make ends meet. Yet, she still took care of her children. Unfortunately, one boy was lost to her at a very young age of 2 in a horrible freak accident, and Lisa never could quite come back from that loss; her way of coping was to drink a lot. Even though she did this, she was very well known as a very gentle, caring and loving soul by everyone that met her and had the pleasure of getting to know her. She loved EVERYONE.

 

She was taken from us very suddenly after learning she had end-stage liver failure. Just days later, she went through a series of MAJOR medical events resulting from the rapid Detox, which left her more than physically traumatized. It left her medically and mentally incapacitated and fatally injured. We were devastated. Her body and mind could not cope with the insult and injury she suffered and were left unable to heal or recover. Her brain was so injured it would not stop seizing until finally, about one week later, she died in the arms of her twin daughters.

 

Now, she needs YOUR help. She was always there for anyone in need in Topeka. She was born in San Francisco and Is native to the Bay Area. Please let's show LISA that we still care; let's give her some California love. I understand that many of us may not be able to attend the funeral service physically. But, we can help contribute to cover the cost of it. Anything will help. The balance due is $9000.
