Donate to help Marisha battle Breast Cancer

Hi, my name is Mario Hodge and I'm fundraising to help my oldest child Marisha during her battle with Stage 4 Breast Cancer.

Marisha has always been my angel and in many ways saved my life when I was young. She has always been a fighter. She was born very premature. The doctors told us that she wouldn't make it but she kept fighting. Her premature birth left her with some auditory processing and other issues you might expect from someone born very premature. BUT she kept fighting.

Marisha went on to have a beautiful little girl, my granddaughter Maliyah who is currently 4 years of age.

As of August Marisha turned 31.

A couple of years ago Marisha, left California to study Islam while being closer to her brothers and sisters. Eventually they made the decision to move to an Arabic speaking country to fully immerse themselves in the culture, to make learning the Qur'an and Arabic language, easier and a priority. This is when she started to notice the lumps. Being that they were in a "3rd world country", without the same medical technologies/treatments and not as much family support as she had here. We had to get her home.

When they came back in July, she was officially diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. Now we need help to help her to continue to fight.

This fundraiser is for everything that medical does not cover, things to help her and my granddaughter during this time.
