Donate to help Markku Artiola

*Dear all, we would like to start this Donation to help Markku Artiola. Markku has been a passionate racing driver for many years - since an accident in 1988, Markku has been dependent on a wheelchair, but has never given up his passion for racing. I was once able to meet Markku myself a few years ago in Oschersleben and at a few races since them and admired him for his courage and passion to continue racing despite his paraplegia.*

As many of you know, Markku had a serious accident on 6 october 2024 with his sidecar in Oschersleben which has left him with alot of injuries. He is currently still undergoing intensive medical treatment in Magdeburg. We cannot say at the moment how long he will remain in treatment.

With this Donation we would like to support Markku's partner Pia, who is by his side every day and has to take care of all the things in Germany, such as

- accommodation costs as long as Markku is not fit for transport

- travelling expenses (fuel, flights from Finnland to Germany,...)

- Aids and treatments in the following period

- maybe costs for return transport

...and who knows what else until Markku has recovered.

We are therefore happy about every single cent that we can give to the two of them. A big thank you to the motorsport community.
