Donate to Help Mary Lue

It is never easy losing your independence once you have found it, especially if it is achieved at a stage later in life. This recently happened to our mom, grandmother, aunt and friend, Mary Lue King. Last fall Mary Lue’s car was deemed undrivable and as such has caused her to rely on family and friends to get her to church, the store, doctor appointments and anywhere else she may want to go. The loss of not being able to do these things for herself causes depression for her and anxiety having to constantly ask others for help. Mary Lue is a very independent person and loves to be there for anyone in her life and as such does not take to having to ask for assistance. She may not be able to give you the shirt off her back as much as she would like but you will definitely be well fed with the many gifts of food that she shares.

Hopefully now is the time that you can help us give her back her freedom and independence by helping us raise funds to purchase her a new/used car. We are hoping to get her something more reliable than what we can get on our own by putting together this fundraiser on her behalf. It will mean more than you know to us and to her if you can help.
