Donate to Help me Buy a Power Wheelchair

Hi, my name is Rachel. I've been fighting Fibromyalgia for 11 years now but 3 years ago it developed to the point where I can no longer walk.

It is taking everything from me. I am housebound and use a personal assistant to help me with chores which I have to fund privately. I am helped by friends as well. Without them, I wouldn't be able to cope.

My body is going numb and stiff, I've an internal shake and it feels as though my body is turning to lead. I am breathless and the pain is endless. My symptoms are 24/7.

I'm looking for help to buy a power wheelchair which would mean I can get out of the house occasionally. I'll still need assistance but it would help my mental state enormously. I have a friend who takes me out in a manual chair now and then but he's elderly and it's too much really.

I am currently trying to go through the NHS to get a chair but it's taking forever and I don't have the luxury of time any more. My body is deteriorating. I need a chair now, which is why I am asking for your help.

I am looking for any help you can give. I'd be so grateful. If I manage to get a chair, I will post up some pics of me out and about in it.

Please help me get back a little of life again.
