Please help me get by the next few months.

Hi, my name is Orlando Perez Sr. I have been a Law Enforcement Officer for over 34 Years. Worked with the Camden City Police Department for 25 Years and currently with the Voorhees Township Police Department for the past 9 Years.

I was found to have Appendicitis and had an emergency Laparoscopic Surgery on August 24, 2022 to remove my Appendix.

The Surgeon found that my Appendix was flipped upside down, had a Rock Hard Mass on the end of the Appendix and that it was fused to my Colon.

At that point, he had to proceed with a much more complicated Surgical Procedure where he had to open me up down the middle of my stomach by the side of my belly button.

He then removed my Appendix, the Mass, and a Foot Long piece of my Colon. He reattached everything and was pretty confident that he was able to get everything done that he saw needed to be done at that time.

As of today, I am still at the Hospital recovering from everything and trying to get myself in good enough shape / condition to get discharged home.

This surgery that started off maybe keeping me out of work for 2 weeks has now turned into me being out of work for a minimum of 2 to 3 months because of the line of work that I do. That is if I can even heal and get myself better that fast.

I am asking for my Family, Friends, Friends of Family, and Friends of Friends, who are able to, with no pressure, for assistance while I try to get back on my feet and move forward to continue supporting my family as I have always done. This came out of no where from a stomach ache to where I am at now.

Not being able to work, and not getting paid when I don’t work will definitely cause a serious financial crisis to me and my family. I know that times are hard but this is most likely my only recourse to plead for help from anyone who can and are willing to do so.

The money raised through this site will go to helping me pay bills that do not stop coming or does not change when people like myself get into these situations.
