Donate to help me pay for my dog Murphy's surgery

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this. My loveable pup Murphy recently had to have emergency surgery. She is a 12 year old American bulldog who's been with me her whole life. Shes been my sidekick since day one; has helped me learn patience and other life lessons, helped me stay healthy and be a better person. We are bonded in a way that I never thought possible, we talk to each other with words and without.

Shes such a happy healthy dog so it was a shock when she recently had two episodes where she couldn't get a breath for a minute or two; so I took her to the vet. A day later shes in the hospital diagnosed with a neurological disorder(GOLPP) that affects her larynx and hind end. Two days later shes rushed into emergency surgery to tie back one side of her larynx because it has paralysis and both sides dont open correctly. What I've read about her condition is that the surgery is very beneficial and vastly improves quality of life. Without it she could have respiratory failure at anytime or aspirate on food; and no local vet would be able to help since it requires a specialist. With such an emergent decision and her being so healthy before this, I decided she needed the surgery. Ive never felt so lost and hopeless with her in the hospital for 5 days not knowing how she would come through and there being a risk of the stitches not holding, the procedure needing to be repeated or pneumonia; which of course she ended up with as well.

I hate to think of money at a time like this but the cost has been such a hit on me so suddenly. The hospital on the weekend, a specialist, under emergency conditions, medications, soft food costs; its all been so overwhelming. I also had to take off work for over a week because she cant be alone on her meds; she also can't get anxious or over stimulated or even bark because it exacerbates her condition and could break her stitches. So I'm here, filling you all in on my beautiful girl; who I'm sure if know me, you know her. I'm asking for any size donation if you feel so inclined to give.
