Hi, I’ve been an unfortunate victim of theft at Barcelona airport on 25 Oct 2024. After only a few seconds of being at a check-in kiosk, my carry-on luggage was stolen. I had about €10,000 worth of equipment. I spent so much time researching, working, and saving to buy everything so I can present and perform my work the best ways I possibly can.

This has been the most devastating and traumatic experience I’ve ever had as a touring artist. I’m still experiencing moments of shock remembering how quickly it all happened, and how unhelpful the police was even with my tracker on find a phone app. I ran around with a sprained wrist lugging my giant suitcase and bag trying to find my carryon bag up and down different levels of the airport with every police officer I faced give blank looks stating how they can’t do anything to help. I’ve filed a police report in Barcelona and have been disheartened hearing similar stories from others who have had their things stolen (even from checked-in luggage).

While I have my own backup server at home, I didn’t get a chance to backup the latest finished work I did. I now have a huge amount of work to produce again and piece together from whatever I have saved from earlier drafts. I’m forever grateful for the incredible amount of emotional and mental support I’ve received. Thank you so much for keeping me sane. As all of this equipment are essential for my livelihood and continue working, any contribution to help me recover my stolen goods is super appreciated.
