Dear Friends and Family,

As you all know, Melanie was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia two weeks ago. There is now an urgent need to prepare for the impact her care and recovery will have on her financial responsibilities over the next months and year(s). Melanie is self-employed and historically the sole income-earner in her household. Donations to this Go Fund Me will be used toward medical copayments and deductibles, mortgage, and household expenses that Melanie will have difficulty paying.

Everyone who knows Melanie has experienced her generous nature and

her love of people and life. Melanie’s spirit lifts those around her whether by wit and playful bantering, or by her fierce and compassionate loyalty to fairness and friendship. She is a true friend.
