Hi, my name is Kelly. I got to know Michelle through a local cancer group on FB. Michelle was originally diagnosed in 2009. She just hit her 5 years with MBC(Metastatic Breast Cancer). Michelle is an amazing inspiration and has fought so hard! Unfortunately, she just received news that there are no options left for treatment. Our Cancer Group is raising funds to help with some medical bills and to hopefully get her to Spain one last time, as this is where her Mom is from. She so badly wants to visit while she still can. We need to help her and her family spend as much time as possible together without worrying about their finances.

I wasnt sure when to post this, but news is spreading fast.

I have decided to stop treatments.

"Cancer is not a war. It’s not a battle to be won. Cancer is a disease that plays by its own rules and does not always respond the way it is supposed to."

No comments needed, really.

I dont usually post this personal stuff but I feel it is the best way to let friends I dont speak as often but still have a place in my heart know without having to repeat myself over and over, its overwhelming.

I am looking forward to these last months of spending valuable time with my family and friends.
