Help for Michael Fuchs for just doing his job

Hi, my name is Katie and I have been the only person here supporting Michael
through all this. Mike is one of the nicest, most courageous, honest and hard-working tow truck drivers that you will ever meet. He was simply just monitoring the property that day, doing his job giving 72-hour warning stickers on vehicles with expired tags, when he got viciously attacked and gunned down. I can't even begin to explain how tough and disappointing this whole situation has been for us. (Mike, Katie, dogs Chloe, Bella). Since that afternoon on March 16th, 2022, I have been on the phone every day TRYING to get a hold of Workman's Compensation People, Victims Advocates, Attorneys, Police Departments, Doctors, Unemployment and even the News. But unfortunately, we are still sitting here in the hospital after his 5th surgery on his arm and haven't gotten one phone call from any one of these above-listed people including his boss! His boss told us the second day on March 18th that Mike is 1099 no workman's comp. And has yet to send us a Get Well Soon Card. Victims Assistance told us that they couldn't help due to insufficient funds. Public Defenders are too busy to return our multiple voicemails left. Police Department and Investigators don't even care that they have all of a sudden lost Mike's cell phone that day that has critical evidence for the trial of the shooter's car on it. I called Fox 31 news and whoever I talked to that day didn't even have the patience to listen to me and quickly said in a snippy tone of voice, " I'm sorry but your just rambling!" and hung up on me! We had to sell our RV and his Mustang to pay for the storage units that we had to move all of our belongings in and to pay for hotels to live in. The bills are quickly accumulating, and we are finding it quite a challenge to get any assistance. Since the incident, Mike has had six surgeries. One on his neck, getting ten staples, one on his abdomen to fix his pierced liver, getting 29 staples, and four surgeries on his right upper arm, where a bullet shattered the humerus bone and has had complications ever since. Mike has yet to get any proper type of pain management or any kind of compassion from anyone but myself and some of the nurses at Swedish Medical. We still don't know yet how disabled he might or might not be yet for such a series of unfortunate events. We are just asking for some help from anyone with anything right now in hopes that there are actually kind-hearted and compassionate people still left in this world. No one deserves to be treated like this from someone else heinous choices. Thanks and God Bless for any help that is received.
