Help Mother & Children After Devastating Break-In

Dear Friends and Kind Strangers,

I am reaching out to you in a time of distress. My beloved childhood friend and her two precious children have recently experienced a heartbreaking and disturbing break-in that has left them feeling violated and unsafe in their own home. I am setting up this GoFundMe campaign to seek your support in helping them recover.

While the family was out to brunch on August 4th, their home was broken into, and thieves stole several valuable and sentimental items. Among the stolen belongings were precious jewelry, a guitar, essential apparel, and personal intimate belongings–which has left my friend feeling vulnerable and anxious.

To make matters even more heartbreaking, the burglars also took away birthday presents that were lovingly gifted to my friend's oldest child, who just turned 14 on July 31st. The anticipation and excitement of a special birthday celebration has been shattered.

My friend works tirelessly to provide a safe and loving home for her children and their pets. The emotional toll of this traumatic event with the added financial burden of replacing these items is overwhelming. If they report these items to their insurance company, their monthly rate will, unfortunately, increase to an unaffordable amount.
