Donate to help my best friend’s family rebuild

Hi my name is Deborah and I am fundraising for my best friend and her family.

Joann, her husband George, and their two young daughters had a devastating fire break out in the middle of the night Monday at their house in San Francisco, CA due to an electrical fire at the service meter in the house.

Joann was awoken from her sleep to a loud sound coming from downstairs and thought the house was being broken into. Her husband went to check and found that instead a fire had broken out.

By the grace of God, the family was able to get out of the house safely with minor smoke inhalation, but they have unfortunately lost everything- their home that they have lived in for the past 15 years, and literally all of their belongings.

They are currently displaced staying at a hotel until they can find a better housing situation. They will need to rebuild their home from the ground up and purchase everything including clothing as they have nothing.
