Donate to help my daughter Jeannette

While most know Jeannette McClean as a loving wife, mother, daughter and friend. Many are unaware that she is also a warrior, who has been quietly fighting for her life. Jeannette was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in March 2023 and on June 20th, she had an intensive surgery to remove her thyroid gland. At the time, her doctors believed the surgery would be the only treatment needed. In September Jeannette’s scans showed that some spots of cancer remained in her throat and she underwent radiation treatment. After a whole body scan on September 29th, doctors advised that the cancer had spread to Jeannette’s lungs. While this was hard news, Jeannette remained hopeful ad her scan showed the radiation glowing in her lungs, which meant it was doing its job. On November 1st, Jeannette received the devastating news that her body was not responding to her treatments/medication and that she needs to travel to Houston to see a cancer specialist.

As you can imagine, the financial toll on Jeannette and her husband Rob have been heavy. Jeannette has had to take off from work for multiple hospital stays, as well as recovery from surgery/treatments and bills are pulling up. We are raising funds first to get Jeannette to Houston to see a specialist, so she can have a fighting chance at beating this diagnosis but also to cover her bills and loss of pay for the time she will be missing work to take care of her health.

If you are able to give, anything is helpful. If you are not in a place to give financially we ask that you would consider lifting Jeannette up in prayer.

1. Pray that her body would be healed completely.

2. Pray that Jeannette would be surrounded by the right medical professionals and that the treatment they recommend works

3. Pray that finances would not become an obstacle to treatment

4. Pray for her precious daughter, Kirsten, and her husband Rob.
