Donate to Help my Family Rebuild

I want to start off by saying I never thought I’d be in this position, but here I am. We all need help sometimes. I am seeing this now. This year has been hard for all of us, including myself. I’m finally at a point where I’m reaching out for help. As some of you may, know my husband was out of work for almost a year due to an emergency life-changing surgery and will have to undergo a second one in the future as his fight is not over yet. It was very hard on us, leaving me being the only one working and supporting my entire household for that time. In addition, this past summer, my son and I were in a major accident that left my car totaled. My son is safe and okay. I, unfortunately, sustained injuries and was out of work for a short while. I underwent spinal surgery the day before thanksgiving (11/27) due to the injuries sustained and will have to be out of work again for a few weeks for recovery.

We are now finding ourselves struggling to keep our heads above water . I was to continuously paying for a weekly rental vehicle out of pocket for several months due to losing my vehicle . My son is special needs (autism, epilepsy, ADHD, ODD, OCD) and I need to be able to get him to his services, doctor's appointments, and school. (When returning to work) I work in a different state from which I reside, so me having a car is absolutely essential to us, especially after being out from work from our accident . Without it, we run into further complications.

This has all set my family back quite a bit with no alternatives and at the worst time ever(around the holidays). I would love my son to have a good holiday all things considered.

We need a little bit of help getting back on our feet from both my husband and myself being out from surgeries. We are hoping with the help of our peers, we can do so and move forward. My family would be forever grateful for any help! Our goal is once we are back, we will want to give back because that is in our nature as I’m sure most of you know.
