Donate to help my Mother move out of her home.

Hello, my name is Melissa LaPlante, and I’m creating this Gofundme page to help my 67-year-old disabled mother. Because my mom, who has lived at her residence in Glenville for the last 40 years, has abruptly been given a 30-day-eviction notice. Due to the new owners wanting to move her out so they can sell the property. She has nowhere to go and is looking for assistance from anyone willing to help her find a new home.

 

My mother also has several health conditions limiting her too little to no exertion. If she does exert herself her oxygen level goes down and makes it very difficult for her to breathe. Can be very scary. In the last year she has been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis of her lungs, emphysema, asthma, and C.O.P.D. with onset of heart disease and high blood pressure. She can hardly walk without running out of breath even with the use oxygen all throughout her day. With her health slowly declining this news was one of the worst things she could have received with already so much going on in her life. She also struggles with incredible body pain due to arthritis and Fibromyalgia. With battling depression this whole idea of having to pack and sort out a lifetime of things and move is very difficult and very worrisome. Not only on her but us as well.

 

Throughout my whole life my mother has been my number one supporter and has always done anything and everything for me. I just want to give back to her and take away some of the stress and worries she is enduring currently. She has very little funds to even think about finding a new place to live or even getting storage units to keep her things in until she finds a home.  She also needs help with giving people gas money to help haul stuff out of her house. She is having vehicle issues. I’m asking from the bottom of my heart if anyone could donate any amount it would be VERY helpful during this sad and stressful time. I’ve never made a Gofundme page before, it was suggested by one of my friends. So, I’m giving it an honest try. Thank you for your time and keep her in your thoughts and prayers. God bless you.
