Hello,

My name is Maia. I am one of the 4 children my mom has, not the favorite one just one of the 4. Haha. I’m starting this because there’s been a few requests from some lovely people. Back in the spring of 2022, my mother was diagnosed with stage 3 cirrhosis of the liver. The doctors have informed us of all our options, however at this point the only way for her to regain her health and the mobility she once had is through a transplant. We have so far completed every test, and we have been to every appointment. Mom goes every Friday for paracentesis (this is where they draw the fluid from her abdomen). At this point we are just waiting for more direction and information from the doctors. We have been so thankful and appreciative of all the kind words from everyone. It genuinely means so much! I started this gofundme when my mother first got sick and the amount of feedback we have received has been astronomical. Back to what I said about the requests for this, anything will help. Whether that’s kind words, or a share, or anything you can. My mom is not the type of person to ask for help and neither am I but sometimes it’s okay to ask for help.
