Nibs Deere is my Dad and is a paraplegic. Due to age and unfortunate events, he has significant pressure ulcers which can only be treated effectively with vacuum dressing but due to the cost we may have to stop the treatment which can lead to the sores becoming infected and increasingly worse. Also due to the treatment the doctor has prescribed him a colostomy in order to decrease the chance of infection due to uncontrollable excretion that gets inside the sores and has caused further infection before including gangrene which required an operation to remove partial bone. Because of all the operations and prescriptions we have been given, we are slowly running out of funds to keep Nibs going and are urgently looking for any help so he can make a full recovery.
