Hi, my name is Nicole and I’ve been one of Nikki Mitchell’s best friends since 2006.

Nikki was devastatingly diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer early in 2020. Although she fought as hard as she could with her family and friends by her side Nikki sadly lost her battle with this awful disease and passed away in the early hours of Sunday 15th September 2024.

Nikki’s two youngest daughters Ruby and Poppy will begin their Secondary School education in 2025 and 2026, being a Primary School Teacher herself Nikki had a wish that they would attend St Francis Xavier College, a school close to their home and one that she had toured with Ruby and has enrolled in for 2025. However after her passing and now having only one income for the household the reality is Ruby and Poppy will not be able to attend this school hand selected by Nikki without your help.

Nikki was one of the most generous and caring people I have ever met. She loved celebrating people, helping where she could and giving to her friends and family. She was an avid and passionate fundraiser for National Breast Cancer Foundation since being diagnosed in 2020. By running PINK days at her school, as well as rallying friends, family and local business to back her, she managed to raise close to $40,000 in just four year. This is now our chance to give back to her.

With your help by making a donation we can make Nikki’s final wish for Ruby and Poppy’s future education come true. To be able to help the Mitchell family in this most devastating time will not only fulfil Nikki’s wishes but it will also mean securing a future for Ruby and Poppy in these uncertain and tragic circumstances.
